Portable Briefcase
Introduction
The purpose of the Portable Briefcase is to take a users request for documents and reports, copy them to the PC, and allow the user to query the list and display the associated documents and reports without being connected to the AS/400 host system. The IMS/21 System is not used with this program.
This program is designed for mass export of documents. The user should write a program based on criteria found in their application and the program would write records into your file (i.e., salesman orders, customer accounts, patient records, etc.).
