Elite Document Solutions, Inc. Forms Alliance with Symbol Technologies, Inc. to Offer Electronic Signature Capture for Document Management on the iSeries (AS/400).

Lake Forest, California (January 28, 2005) - Elite Document Solutions, Inc. announces its alliance with Symbol Technologies, Inc. to offer electronic signature capture for document management on the iSeries (AS/400). This was announced today by Andrew Rackauckas, President of Elite Document Solutions, Inc.

Elite's latest offering for electronic document management is electronic signature capture . By offering the electronic signature capture solution, it takes a paper-oriented process (that can be tough to track) and transforms it into a fully electronic process. In a typical point-of-sale transaction or delivery transaction, the customer signs a multipart, paper document so that the merchant and the customer each have a record of the transaction. Elite's signature capture module replaces the multipart, paper document with a pressure-sensitive tablet that records signatures electronically. Elite's iSeries-based electronic document software links these images to specific transaction documents so they may be distributed to the customer via print, email or fax instantly.

In order for Elite to expand its electronic document solutions to include electronic signature capture for the iSeries (AS/400) platform, a choice of integrating a mobility solution had to be made. Therefore, the Elite development team started working on the integration with the Symbol mobility devices earlier this year. The choice to partner with Symbol Technologies, Inc. was an easy choice to make with its industry recognition.
