digidoc uses “fingerprinting” identification-like technology and advanced recognition services to virtually eliminate the entire “key from image” process. Advanced data extraction processes intelligently interpret document image information, recognizing the characters and symbols on the page image and enabling users to extract some or all of the data in machine-readable form. The document images and extracted data can then be securely transferred to document-management, workflow, ERP, or other applications via XML and other formats. This software application runs on all conventional hardware platforms and can read images from any document scanner or multi-function device. digidoc reads structured, semi-structured, and unstructured document images quickly and accurately and is capable of processing tens of thousands or even millions of documents per hour.
